Workshops

Workshops are available to help folx care for their hair independently. I provide a basic or specialized curriculum to people of all ages, especially the wee ones.

As a workshop facilitator and hair science communicator, I lean deeply into my 13 years of teaching experience to design programming that is accessible to folx—regardless of age—encouraging them to take pride in their craft and experience joy in accomplishing goals they define. My goals are to create space for gender euphoria, unmasking, and self-reliance. 

My favorite part of being a Natural Hair Specialist is sharing what I know with folx learning to care for their hair independently for the first time. I am an affiliate of Hello Hair, a brand focused on educating Black children about Black Hair. Through Hello Hair, I have resources to provide a basic or specialized curriculum to people of all ages, especially the wee ones.

Presently, I am focused on partnerships with community groups that can sponsor the cost of materials both for the workshop and for kits to send home with participants.
